On July 9, 2024 Los Gatos Elite officially acquired West Valley Gymnastics School (WVGS), marking the beginning of a new and promising chapter in our shared gymnastics journey.

As someone who has had the privilege of being a WVGS gymnast, employee, and now a gym owner, this acquisition holds a special place in my heart. I am deeply humbled and honored to continue the long-standing history of excellence that WVGS represents. My experiences at WVGS have shaped me both personally and professionally, and I am committed to preserving and enhancing the legacy for future generations.

things to know

  • Classes will continue at the WVGS location with the same times and coaches. There will be no changes to classes during the transition.

  • Between July 10 and July 23, there will be no class changes allowed as we migrate the classes and families to the new portal. The new portal is planned to be available for WVGS families starting August 1.

  • Description text goes hereA new parent portal for registration and enrollment is coming on August 1. WVGS families will be migrated over and able to create a new login on the new portal starting August 1. Payments and billing will also be managed through this new portal, providing a streamlined and efficient process.

    Enhanced Training Facilities: The WVGS location offers a fully equipped training gym, providing a better training environment for our athletes.

    Expanded Programming: We plan to introduce new programs and resources, broadening the opportunities available to our athletes.

    Consistency in Coaching: Your child will continue to train with the same high-quality coaches, ensuring continuity and consistency in their training.

    Flexibility: Current customers will be able to use make-up classes and transfer classes between Los Gatos Elite at West Valley and Los Gatos Elite on the Blvd.

  • We are committed to maintaining and enhancing the quality of our programs. We will continue to ensure the highest standards of coaching and training through ongoing staff workshops and training sessions. By combining the expertise and resources of both WVGS and LGE, we aim to provide an even higher quality of gymnastics training and support for our athletes.

  • There will be no immediate changes to your child’s current class schedule or coaching staff. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible, ensuring that current schedules and coaches at both locations remain intact. The only change will be that all competitive athletes will be moving to the West Valley location. An orientation session will be held to help athletes and families familiarize themselves with the new facility.

General

  • Yes, your child will continue to train with the same high-quality coaches, ensuring continuity and consistency in their training.

  • We plan to introduce new programs and resources over the next year, broadening the opportunities available to our athletes.

  • The only immediate change will be that all competitive athletes will be moving to the West Valley location at some point in the next few weeks. We will reach out to our competitive families to confirm dates and transition logistics.

  • Yes, current customers will be able to transfer classes between Los Gatos Elite at West Valley and Los Gatos Elite on the Blvd.

Program and Class

  • The WVGS location offers a fully equipped training gym. We will continue to evaluate and enhance our facilities to ensure the best training environment for our athletes.

  • Yes, we have exciting plans for facility upgrades and new equipment over the next year to enhance the training experience.

Facility

  • We will be adjusting the West Valley location to the same base tuition as Los Gatos Elite. We will have our annual price adjustment planned for August. The West Valley location has already stopped billing the membership fee.

  • We plan to migrate all WVGS clients to our Jackrabbit system. Though this is a daunting task, we are planning no operational disruptions and will continue to communicate via email and in person regarding this change. Billing will continue to be handled through our existing systems, and we will communicate any changes well in advance to ensure a smooth transition.

Financial

  • There are no immediate changes to office hours or contact information. Any updates will be communicated promptly.

Administrative

  • The acquisition has already taken place in the legal sense, but we will continue to use the next few months to ensure the longevity of the transition is as smooth and disruption-free as possible. We will keep you informed every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition.

  • There will be no immediate impact on your child’s schedule. We are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible.

Transition Process

  • We will hold orientation sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure students and families are comfortable with the transition. Our staff will be available to answer any questions and assist during this period.

  • Yes, we will hold informational meetings, family orientations at the West Valley location as well as provide opportunities for parents to ask questions throughout the transition process.

  • We will have dedicated office hours and provide regular updates through email.
