I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you! Los Gatos Elite has officially acquired West Valley Gymnastics School (WVGS), marking the beginning of a new and promising chapter in our shared gymnastics journey.
A Personal Connection
As someone who has had the privilege of being a WVGS gymnast, employee, and now a gym owner, this acquisition holds a special place in my heart. I am deeply humbled and honored to continue the long-standing history of excellence that WVGS represents. My experiences at WVGS have shaped me both personally and professionally, and I am committed to preserving and enhancing the legacy for future generations.
Not only was Mark Young one of my childhood coaches, but he has also been a lifelong mentor in the sport of gymnastics. Mark's impact on the gymnastics world has been profound and far-reaching. He has coached Olympians, mentored countless athletes, and played a pivotal role in developing numerous coaches who have gone on to make significant contributions to the sport.
Mark's innovative approach to bar work has set new standards and inspired many within the gymnastics community. His techniques and methods have been widely adopted, showcasing his forward-thinking and creative spirit. Beyond his technical expertise, Mark's dedication to the holistic development of his athletes has made him a revered figure.
